Come join us for a Renaissance Choral Music Workshop.
The workshop will focus on Renaissance Choral Music influenced by Gregorian Plainchant by composers such as Josquin des Pres Anerio, Lassus and Palestrina with David Vinden of the British Kodály Society.
It will take place on THURSDAY 14 FEBRUARY 2008 (Mid Term Break) 2.00pm- 5.30pm in AN TAIN THEATRE Dundalk Town Hall, Dundalk.
All participants must be able to sight read.
Workshop participants will be able to combine the workshop withthe State Choir Latvia performing Arvo Pärt’s first Irish Commission in St Patrick’s Cathedral Dundalk on 14 Feb 2008.
The workshop costs €40.This includes the choral performance which is priced at €20.Closing date to purchase tickets is 26 January 2008.
